1. Booking Process and Service Arrangements
a. These General Terms and Conditions, together with any service details or booking information provided to the customer from time to time, shall constitute the agreement between the customer and Rachel McCafferty Shore, operating under the brand name Seeshore Travel.
Use of the Website, submission of inquiries, provision of personal details, or engagement of travel services constitutes acceptance of the terms set forth herein.
b. By using the Website and/or submitting information through it, the user confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
c. When submitting details through the Website, users may be required to confirm that they have read and accepted the Website’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy by checking a designated checkbox.
d. The Website does not facilitate direct purchases or binding travel bookings.
Any inquiry, request for a quotation, completion of a travel preference questionnaire, or contact made through the Website constitutes a request for information only and does not constitute a confirmed booking or any obligation on Rachel’s part to provide services.
e. A binding travel booking shall be created only after the customer has provided explicit approval and after coordination with the relevant service providers and final confirmation of the booking.
f. A binding travel booking shall only be established after the customer has provided the required payment details, expressly authorized the booking, and the relevant service providers have issued their final confirmation.
The customer acknowledges that service prices may change until final confirmation is received from the relevant service providers, as Rachel works with various suppliers in Israel and abroad, and availability and pricing remain subject to their approval and updates.
g. Rachel acts as a travel agent, consultant, and intermediary between customers and various travel service providers, including airlines, hotels, transportation providers, local ground operators, tour guides, attractions, cruise operators, Chabad Houses, kosher food providers, and other tourism-related suppliers in Israel and abroad.
h. Rachel is not the actual provider of the travel services and shall not be responsible for the actual provision, quality, suitability, performance, or final pricing of services booked through her, unless the damage or issue arose directly from Rachel’s own act or omission.
i. In the event that a requested or booked service becomes unavailable, Rachel will make reasonable efforts, without guaranteeing the availability of an alternative, to work with the relevant service providers in order to identify a suitable alternative and present it to the customer for approval.
j. Rachel shall not be liable for any acts or omissions, whether negligent or otherwise, of airlines, hotels, ground operators, or any other third-party service provider responsible for delivering the travel services. Nevertheless, Rachel will make reasonable efforts to assist the customer and minimize any inconvenience or damage resulting from a service provider’s failure to provide the service or from deficient service performance.
k. Rachel undertakes to act professionally and with reasonable skill in coordinating and arranging the requested services and in providing customers with any material information known to her regarding the booked services.
l. Information displayed on the Website, as well as information provided to customers as part of the services, is based, among other things, on information received from various service providers in Israel and abroad.
Rachel makes reasonable efforts to verify the accuracy of such information but cannot guarantee its completeness, accuracy, or ongoing validity at all times.
m. Rachel shall not be liable for any cancellation, delay, modification, disruption, or failure in the provision of services resulting from the acts or omissions of service providers or from circumstances beyond her reasonable control, including force majeure events, war, security situations, strikes, pandemics, natural disasters, border closures, regulatory changes, flight cancellations, or any other event beyond her control.
n. Rachel shall make reasonable efforts to provide the customer with booking confirmations and travel documents using the contact details provided by the customer. The customer acknowledges that completion of any booking is subject to supplier approval, service availability, and the prices applicable at the time of confirmation. Until final confirmation is received, service providers may change prices, terms, or availability. In the event of a material change, the customer may choose either to approve the booking under the updated terms or cancel it without charge, provided no actual payment has been processed.
o. The customer undertakes to provide Rachel with complete, accurate, and up-to-date information required for the booking, including valid contact details, passenger names exactly as they appear on the passport, and any other material information necessary for the provision of the services.
p. The customer undertakes to provide Rachel with valid and up-to-date contact information, including an active telephone number and email address, and to remain available to receive important notices and updates relating to the booking from the time the booking is made until the completion of the trip.
Rachel may send the customer notifications, updates, schedule changes, travel documents, supplier notices, and other material information using the contact details provided by the customer.
Rachel shall not be liable for any loss, expense, delay, inconvenience, or damage resulting from inaccurate contact information, failure to update contact details, unavailability of the customer, or failure to review messages or documents sent to the customer.
q. The customer is responsible for reviewing all travel documents, booking confirmations, and other documents provided to them and must notify Rachel without delay of any error, discrepancy, omission, or inconsistency.
r. Requests for booking changes shall be subject to supplier availability, supplier policies, and applicable law, and may be subject to additional charges, fees, or amendment costs in accordance with the policies of the relevant suppliers.
s. If the customer independently makes changes directly with service providers, including airlines, hotels, transportation providers, or any other supplier, the customer shall bear sole responsibility for any consequences resulting from such changes.
t. The customer is responsible for keeping informed of the requirements and recommendations issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Security Council, the Ministry of Health, and other competent authorities regarding the travel destination, including entry requirements, visas, vaccinations, travel documentation, travel advisories, and security-related instructions.
2. Prices, Currency and Payments
a. Prices for travel services are provided to the customer through a personalized quotation based on the requested services and supplier availability.
Unless otherwise stated, quoted prices include taxes and charges known at the time the quotation is provided. Additional fees, taxes, levies, or charges imposed directly by service providers or governmental authorities may apply and may not necessarily be included in the quoted price.
b. Currency Exchange Rate and Price Changes
Travel service prices may change due to fluctuations in currency exchange rates, taxes, surcharges, or price updates imposed by service providers. In the event of a price change, the customer will be notified and required to approve the updated price before the booking proceeds.
3. Refunds
Where the customer is entitled to a refund under applicable law, these Terms and Conditions, or the cancellation policy of the relevant service provider, the refund shall be transferred to the customer after Rachel has actually received the funds from the relevant supplier.
As bookings are arranged through Rachel and are based on services provided by third parties (including airlines, hotels, and other travel service providers), Rachel will make reasonable efforts to obtain the refund on the customer’s behalf but shall not be responsible for delays caused by the processing times of suppliers or any other third party beyond her control.
4. Vouchers and Credits Issued by Service Providers
Where an airline, hotel, or other service provider issues a voucher, credit, travel credit, or similar benefit instead of a monetary refund, such voucher or credit shall be governed solely by the terms and conditions established by the issuing provider.
Rachel is not authorized to amend the terms of any voucher, extend its validity, convert it into a cash refund, or issue a replacement voucher.
For example, if an airline cancels a flight and issues a travel voucher instead of a refund, the voucher shall remain subject solely to the airline’s terms and conditions.
Rachel will make reasonable efforts to assist the customer in communicating with the relevant supplier; however, she shall not be responsible for any decision made by that supplier.
5. Cancellations and Changes to Bookings
a. The customer may request a change, cancellation, or addition to a booking, subject to applicable law, the policies of the relevant service providers (including airlines, hotels, and other travel suppliers), and the terms applicable to the specific booking.
b. Requests for booking changes or cancellations must be submitted to Rachel in writing by email or through any communication method agreed upon by the parties. A request shall be deemed received only once its receipt has been confirmed by Rachel.
c. Cancellation periods, amendment periods, and applicable cancellation fees shall be calculated in accordance with the date on which the booking was confirmed by the relevant service providers and in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, where such laws apply.
d. Cancellations Pursuant to Consumer Protection Law
Where the engagement with Rachel is made through the Website, telephone, email, WhatsApp, or any other means of remote communication, and constitutes a “Distance Selling Transaction” as defined under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 1981, the customer shall be entitled to cancel the transaction in accordance with the provisions of the law.
Pursuant to Sections 14C(c) and 14C(d)(2) of the Consumer Protection Law, the customer may cancel a tourism or vacation booking within fourteen (14) days from the date of the transaction or from the date of receiving the disclosure document containing the transaction details, whichever is later, provided that the cancellation is made no later than seven (7) days, excluding rest days, before the scheduled commencement of the service.
In accordance with Section 14E(b)(1) of the law, in the event of such cancellation, Rachel shall refund the customer within fourteen (14) days from receipt of the cancellation notice the portion of the transaction price paid by the customer, less cancellation fees not exceeding the lower of: (i) 5% of the transaction value; or (ii) NIS 100 per customer.
Under Israeli law, services provided entirely outside Israel may not be subject to the cancellation provisions set forth in Section 14E of the Consumer Protection Law.
e. Extended Cancellation Rights
In the case of a distance selling transaction involving a person with a disability, a senior citizen (over the age of 65), or a new immigrant, the customer may cancel the transaction within four (4) months from the date of the transaction or from the date on which the travel documents were received, whichever is later, provided that the cancellation is made at least seven (7) days, excluding rest days, before the commencement of the service, and provided that the transaction included a conversation between Rachel and the customer.
f. For convenience purposes only, the provisions summarized in this section do not replace the full text of the Consumer Protection Law. In the event of any inconsistency, the applicable provisions of Sections 14C and 14E of the Consumer Protection Law shall prevail.
g. Cancellations and Changes Outside the Scope of Consumer Protection Law
Where the Consumer Protection Law does not apply to the booking, or where the statutory cancellation period has expired, cancellations, amendments, and refunds shall be governed by the policies and conditions of the relevant service providers, including airlines, hotels, cruise operators, ground service providers, attractions, and other tourism suppliers.
Cancellation Fees
Bookings and booking components that do not qualify for cancellation rights under the Consumer Protection Law shall be subject to the cancellation fees imposed by the relevant service providers.
Rachel will act diligently and in good faith when dealing with suppliers and airlines in an effort to reduce or waive cancellation or amendment fees whenever possible and to assist customers in obtaining any refunds to which they may be entitled.
Force Majeure
Changes, cancellations, or disruptions to travel services may occur due to circumstances beyond Rachel’s control, including war, security situations, strikes, pandemics, natural disasters, border closures, supplier insolvency, airline cancellations, or any other force majeure event.
In such cases, any refund due to the customer shall be limited to the amounts actually refunded by the relevant service providers and shall remain subject to applicable law.
Medical Cancellations
Refunds relating to cancellations due to medical circumstances, including hospitalization or the death of an immediate family member, shall be subject to the policies of the relevant suppliers and airlines.
Customers requesting cancellation under such circumstances must submit a detailed written request together with supporting medical documentation in English.
6. Organized Tours
The Website allows users to obtain information and register their interest in organized tours marketed by Rachel.
Registration through the Website or submission of contact details does not constitute final confirmation of participation in any tour. Upon receiving an inquiry, Rachel will contact the customer to provide additional information, confirm registration, and complete the payment process.
Registrations for organized tours shall be subject to the cancellation provisions of the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 1981, where applicable.
Once the statutory cancellation period has expired, or where cancellation rights under the law do not apply, the specific cancellation terms applicable to organized tours, as set forth in the Cancellation Fees section below, shall apply.
Cancellation fees for organized tours shall be determined according to the date of cancellation relative to the scheduled departure date, as detailed below.
7. Administrative Fees for Cancellations and Amendments
a. Bookings cancelled pursuant to the Consumer Protection Law shall be subject to the cancellation fees prescribed by Section 14E(b)(1) of the law.
b. In the event of any change or cancellation initiated by the customer, airline, tour organizer, or supplier, and which is not governed by the Consumer Protection Law, Rachel shall be entitled to charge administrative handling fees in addition to any cancellation or amendment fees imposed by the relevant suppliers:
-Hotel cancellation where flights were cancelled by the customer or by the airline – USD 30 per person, subject to the hotel’s cancellation policy.
Processing the refund of airline tickets cancelled by an airline for any reason – USD 30 per passenger, per flight segment, subject to receipt of the refund from the airline or tour organizer.
Passenger name change on an airline ticket – USD 30 per passenger, subject to the fare rules and airline approval.
Correction of a passenger’s name on an airline ticket – USD 30 per passenger, subject to approval by the airline or tour organizer.
8. Cancellation Fees for Organized Tours
Where a customer cancels participation in an organized tour after the statutory cancellation period under the Consumer Protection Law has expired, or where the law does not apply to the transaction, the following cancellation fees shall apply:
Cancellation up to 30 days prior to departure: 25% of the total tour price.
Cancellation between 29 and 15 days prior to departure: 75% of the total tour price.
Cancellation 14 days or less prior to departure: 100% of the total tour price.
These cancellation fees reflect, among other things, the commitments, reservations, and expenses incurred by Rachel with airlines, hotels, transportation providers, tour guides, attractions, restaurants, Chabad Houses, and other service providers in Israel and abroad.
9. Customer Responsibility for Travel Documents, Visas, Entry Requirements and Travel Advisories
a. The customer bears sole responsibility for ensuring, prior to making a booking, prior to departure, and throughout the trip, that they possess all documents, permits, approvals, and requirements necessary for entry into the destination country and any transit countries, including a valid passport, entry visas, ESTA approvals, ETA approvals, transit permits, vaccinations, medical documents, special entry permits, and any other documentation required by law or by the relevant authorities.
b. Rachel offers, for an additional fee and subject to prior agreement, assistance services in connection with visa applications, entry permits, and travel documentation. Such services include administrative assistance, guidance, and support in preparing and submitting the required documentation. However, these services do not constitute a guarantee that a visa, permit, or approval will be granted, that processing times will be shortened, or that entry into the destination country will be approved.
c. The customer is solely responsible for providing complete, accurate, and truthful information for the purpose of obtaining visas, permits, and travel documents. Rachel shall not be liable for any loss, expense, delay, trip cancellation, denial of entry, or financial damage arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information provided by the customer, or from any decision made by a governmental authority.
d. The customer is also responsible for staying informed of publications and updates issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Security Council (NSC), the Ministry of Health, immigration authorities, and other competent authorities in Israel and abroad, including travel advisories, security instructions, health requirements, vaccination requirements, entry restrictions, documentation requirements, and any other travel-related guidance.
e. No claim, refund request, cancellation request, or compensation demand shall be accepted based on a travel advisory, security warning, health restriction, or entry requirement that was published or publicly available at the time the booking was made or beforehand.
f. Rachel shall not be liable if the customer is denied boarding, denied entry into a destination country, or prevented from continuing their journey due to missing or invalid documentation, an expired passport, missing visa, failure to meet health or vaccination requirements, failure to comply with governmental requirements, or any other circumstance beyond Rachel’s control.
g. For customers’ convenience, information regarding travel advisories, security guidance, entry requirements, vaccinations, and health regulations may be found through the National Security Council (NSC), the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Israeli Ministry of Health. However, responsibility for reviewing the most up-to-date information before booking, before departure, and during travel remains solely with the customer.
Rachel is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or continued availability of information published by governmental authorities, nor for any changes made to such information from time to time.

10. Passports and Citizenship Requirements
a. All information provided regarding passports, visas, and entry requirements is based on requirements applicable to holders of Israeli passports unless expressly stated otherwise.
b. In accordance with the requirements of many governmental authorities and air carriers, passengers are generally required to travel with a passport that remains valid for at least six (6) months beyond the planned date of return. Customers are responsible for verifying the specific requirements applicable to their destination.
c. Airlines may refuse boarding to passengers whose passports do not meet the applicable validity requirements or who do not possess the required entry documentation. Failure to hold the necessary travel documents shall not constitute grounds for a refund.
d. Under Israeli law, Israeli citizens, including those who also hold foreign citizenship, are generally required to enter and exit Israel using their Israeli passport. Customers holding foreign citizenship or a foreign passport must notify Rachel before making a booking.
11. Flights
a. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the passport photograph reasonably reflects their current appearance at the time of travel and that they can be readily identified based on the passport. This is particularly important where the passport was issued many years ago or where there has been a significant change in appearance. If the customer is prevented from boarding a flight or completing their journey due to identification issues or travel document deficiencies, responsibility shall rest solely with the customer.
b. Air transportation of the customer and their baggage shall be subject to the provisions of the Montreal Convention and, where applicable, the Israeli Aviation Services Law (Compensation and Assistance Due to Flight Cancellation or Change of Conditions), 2012.
c. Airline tickets are valid only for the destinations and dates specified therein. The policies of the airline, supplier, or tour operator relating to each ticket, including cancellation and change policies and the associated fees, are detailed on the airline’s website and reservation systems (“Fare Rules”). Rachel has no authority to alter or override the policies of any airline or supplier.
d. Rachel shall not be liable for indirect damages suffered by the customer as a result of flight delays, cancellations, or disruptions that are under the responsibility and control of the air carrier, including delays or cancellations resulting from force majeure events or the cessation of airline operations.
e. Passenger rights relating to flight delays, cancellations, or schedule changes are governed by the Israeli Aviation Services Law (Compensation and Assistance Due to Flight Cancellation or Change of Conditions), 2012.
f. The passenger is responsible for completing online check-in for all scheduled, charter, and low-cost flights and for verifying the final flight schedule. For charter flights where online check-in is unavailable, the passenger must reconfirm the flight at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to departure. Rachel shall not be liable for missed flights resulting from the passenger’s failure to complete check-in or reconfirm the flight.
g. If the passenger requests that Rachel perform the check-in process on their behalf, and Rachel agrees to do so, such assistance shall be provided solely at the passenger’s request and based on the information and documents supplied by the passenger.
The passenger bears sole responsibility for providing accurate passport details, contact information, and any other information required for the check-in process. Rachel shall not be liable for failure to complete check-in, incorrect check-in, denied boarding, flight schedule changes, flight cancellations, seat assignment issues, baggage charges, or any loss, expense, or inconvenience arising from airline requirements or from inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information provided by the passenger.
h. For the avoidance of doubt, even where Rachel assists with the check-in process, the ultimate responsibility for ensuring that check-in has been successfully completed and that all flight details are accurate and up to date remains solely with the passenger.
i. Passengers are required to arrive at the airline check-in counter at least three (3) hours prior to departure for international flights and at least two (2) hours prior to departure for domestic flights.
j. Failure to appear for a flight may result in the immediate and automatic cancellation of onward or return flight segments. If a passenger does not intend to board an outbound or connecting flight, they must notify Rachel as soon as possible so that she may attempt to preserve the return ticket, subject to the airline’s policies.
k. In accordance with airline requirements, pregnant passengers may be required to present a medical certificate in English confirming the status of the pregnancy and their fitness to travel. Passengers who are beyond the twenty-seventh (27th) week of pregnancy may be restricted from flying, depending on the airline’s policy. In all cases, the final decision regarding a pregnant passenger’s fitness to travel rests solely with the airline and the aircraft captain.
Services Provided During Flights
j. Rachel will, where reasonably possible, communicate any special requests made by the customer to the airline. However, Rachel does not guarantee that such requests will be fulfilled unless expressly confirmed by the airline.
k. Airlines maintain different policies regarding onboard services, seating, baggage allowances, check-in procedures, meals, and other travel-related services. The availability of such services may vary according to the airline, route, travel class, and ticket type purchased.
l. In the event of lost, delayed, or damaged baggage, the passenger must immediately report the matter directly to the airline at the airport and obtain written confirmation. Claims relating to baggage loss, delay, or damage must be submitted directly to the airline together with the required supporting documentation.
12. Hotels
a. If a hotel reservation cannot be confirmed, Rachel will make reasonable efforts to offer the customer alternative accommodations, although equivalent standards cannot always be guaranteed. The customer may choose to accept the alternative offered or cancel the reservation without charge.
b. Room allocation is determined solely by the hotel. Rachel has no ability to influence room assignments and therefore cannot guarantee rooms in a specific location within the hotel, including a particular floor, wing, side of the hotel, proximity to elevators, or adjacency to other rooms.
c. Rachel will forward any special requests made by the customer to the relevant hotel or service provider. However, Rachel cannot guarantee that such requests will be fulfilled unless the request was expressly defined as a material condition of the booking and confirmed by the hotel or supplier.
d. Some hotels operate under an “overbooking” policy in accordance with accepted international tourism practices. Under such circumstances, the hotel may transfer guests with confirmed reservations to an alternative hotel of a similar standard and in a nearby location. Rachel shall not be responsible for such decisions.
e. Hotel ratings displayed or provided to customers are based on information supplied by the hotel or the relevant service providers and are subject to the rating standards applicable in the country where the hotel is located.
f. Hotel check-in and check-out times are determined by the hotel and are generally around 3:00 PM for check-in and 11:00 AM for check-out, regardless of flight schedules. Late check-out may result in additional charges imposed by the hotel.
g. If the customer expects to arrive at the hotel after 6:00 PM, whether due to travel plans, delays, or unforeseen circumstances, it is recommended that Rachel be notified in advance so that the hotel can be informed and the reservation preserved.
h. In many hotels, double rooms may consist of two separate beds rather than one double bed. Requests for a double bed cannot be guaranteed and remain subject to hotel availability and discretion.
i. For reservations of rooms accommodating three or more guests, hotels may provide additional sleeping arrangements such as sofa beds, rollaway beds, folding beds, or children’s beds. Such rooms are not necessarily larger than standard double rooms.
j. Responsibility for hotel services, facilities, maintenance, cleanliness, food services, air conditioning, elevators, noise levels, and overall hotel operations rests solely with the hotel. Rachel shall not be liable for deficiencies in such services unless she was aware of the issue in advance and failed to disclose it.
k. Hotels may occasionally undergo maintenance, renovations, or construction work. Rachel shall not be liable for any inconvenience resulting from such activities unless she was informed of them in advance and failed to disclose them.
l. Hotels may offer additional services that are not included in the reservation, such as spa facilities, fitness centers, paid television services, room service, parking, business services, golf or tennis facilities, and similar amenities. Such services are generally subject to additional charges payable directly to the hotel.
m. Certain hotel facilities and services may operate seasonally and may not be available year-round. Hotel management may temporarily close facilities or discontinue services at its discretion, and Rachel shall not be responsible for such decisions.
n. In the event of any problem, disruption, or deficiency in hotel services, the customer must notify the hotel management immediately and request that the issue be addressed, while also informing Rachel as soon as possible. Leaving the hotel without written confirmation from the hotel regarding cancellation without charge, or without prior coordination with Rachel, may result in the customer being charged the full cost of the reservation without entitlement to a refund.
13. Insurance
a. Bookings do not include travel insurance, cancellation insurance, or any other insurance coverage unless expressly stated otherwise.
b. The customer is responsible for obtaining appropriate travel insurance for themselves and their belongings, including coverage for potential risks such as accidents, injuries, illness, theft, loss of baggage or documents, trip cancellation, or other unforeseen events. Customers are encouraged to select comprehensive insurance coverage appropriate to their needs.
c. It is strongly recommended that travel insurance be purchased as soon as possible after the booking has been confirmed and before departure.
d. Customers are encouraged to carefully review the insurance policy, including its terms, exclusions, limitations, and coverage scope, and to ensure that it adequately meets their personal requirements.
14. Privacy Policy
The Website’s Privacy Policy is published separately on the Website under the Privacy Policy and Data Protection section and forms an integral part of these General Terms and Conditions.
